The Merge Analysis Codes feature enables you to merge one analysis code into another, as long as the codes belong to the same analysis group.
For example, suppose that the Sales and Marketing departments merge in your organisation, and each of these departments has its own project analysis group. You could merge the Marketing analysis group into the Sales analysis group, so that Sales incorporates the attributes of both original analysis groups.
You have merged the 'From' analysis group into the 'To' analysis group. The 'To' analysis group now incorporates all the attributes of the 'From' analysis group, as well as its own original attributes.
