Employee Analysis Code Setup
Employee analysis codes are special categories to which you can assign to employees to generate reports that target specific sets of employees.
Let's look at a simple example of the use of Employee Analysis Codes.
Suppose that your organisation operates from offices in several locations, and you need to run productivity reports on employees according to their location.
Let's see how you set up analysis codes to meet this requirement.
- Open the Utilities view in the left-hand pane.
- Click Analysis in the left-hand pane.
- Click Analysis Groups in the left-hand pane.
- Click NEW.
- In the Analysis Group field, type Location.
- In the Analysis Type field, select Employee.
- Click Submit.
- Open the Utilities view in the left-hand pane.
- Click Analysis in the left-hand pane.
- Click Employee Analysis.
- Select Location in the Groups drop-down list.
- Click NEW.
- In the Analysis Code field, enter a location, such as London.
- Click Submit.
- Open the Edit view in the left-hand pane.
- Click Employees in the left-hand pane.
- Select the relevant employee and click EDIT.
- In the main workspace, scroll down to the Employee Analysis Groups section.
- The Location analysis group has been added to this section. Select a location in the drop-down list.
- Click Submit.
Now you can run reports that target employees at specific locations.
