Label Options

System elements and data entry fields throughout in Coretime have default labels.

By default, the client system element is labelled "Client" throughout Coretime.

You could change the Client label to a different term, such as "Person". After you do this, a client is labelled "Person" throughout the system.

You can also set label options on more specific levels.

For example, you could change the "Address 1" label in client records to "Street". This change would apply to all client records, but not to other types of record that have an Address 1 field.

In addition to setting label names, you can also make certain data entry fields mandatory in Coretime.

Customising a Label

  1. Open the Utilities view in the left-hand pane.
  2. Click the System Setup in the left-hand pane.
  3. Click Label Options in the left-hand pane.
  4. In main workspace you can make changes to labels as necessary. These are organised into a number of categories.

  5. Each category has its own Submit button. Click this button to save the changes you made in that label category.
You'll need to restart the worldwide web publishing service to apply your changes.
