Ledger Codes

The Ledger Codes utility creates Nominal Ledger reference codes for use with transaction types in the Debtors Ledger.

Adding a New Code

1. Open the Utilities view in the left-hand pane.
2. Click the System Setup in the left-hand pane.
3. Click Ledger Codes in the left-hand pane.
4. Select a transaction type in the drop-down list at the top of the screen.
5. Click New Ledger Codes to set up a new one. Enter the new code and a brief description. Select the Default Code checkbox if you want this to be the default code for the transaction type.
6. Click Edit to make changes to existing ledger codes.
7. Click Submit to save your changes.

You'll need to restart the worldwide web publishing service to apply your changes.
