Enabling the Supervisor Chain

The supervisor chain enables a supervisor to approve not only the timesheet entries of employees they supervise, but also the timesheet entries of any employees supervised by these employees.

To enable the supervisor chain, carry out the following steps:

  1. Select Utilities – System Setup – System Options.
  2. Open the Setup tab.
  3. Select the Use Supervisor Chain checkbox.
  4. Click Submit.
  5. Restart the worldwide web publishing service on the web server by carrying out an iisreset.

The supervisor chain is now enabled.
