The sections outlined below describe how you set up and use Project Manager Approval and Supervisor Approval functionality in Coretime.
Project Manager Approval enables a project manager to approve or reject time and expense/outlay entries in a project they manage.
Project manager approval is for informational purposes only. It does not lock the entries in the system. Locking entries requires supervisor approval.
Supervisor Approval enables a supervisor (or an 'additional approver') to approve or reject time and expense/outlay entries of employees they supervise.
Approving an entry locks it against subsequent revision by the employee.
To set up and use Coretime's approval functionality, carry out the steps described in the following sections:
