To restrict the employee's access to particular projects, carry out these steps:
- Open the Edit view in the left-hand pane.
- Click Employees in the left-hand pane.
- The Employees window opens in the main workspace. Select the relevant client in the Employee drop-down list.
- Open the employee record's Client/Project Restrictions section.
- In the Project Analysis Grouping drop-down list, select a project analysis group.
- A list of the project analysis codes that belong to this group is displayed in the upper pane. Select a project analysis code.
- Click Add.
- You have added a project analysis code to the lower pane. Add any other relevant codes to the pane.
- Now select one of the radio buttons:
- If you select Project can belong to any selected analysis group, the employee can access any project that belongs to ANY of the project analysis codes listed in the lower pane.
- If you select Project must belong to all selected groups, the employee can access any project that belongs to ALL of the project analysis codes listed in the lower pane.
- Click SUBMIT to apply the settings you have made.
