Activities

Each time entry is categorized according to the nature of the time being spent or activity being undertaken.

Typical activities include Meetings, Report Preparation and Holidays.

Note: Sage strongly recommends that you give careful consideration to activities you create. These have a significant bearing on the quality and usefulness of the reports that result.

As a rule of thumb, if you wish to report on it, you need to create a activity for it.

Adding an Activity

  1. Open the Edit view in the left-hand pane.
  2. Click Activities.
  3. In the main workspace, click the NEWbutton and enter the name of the new activity.
  4. Specify all necessary activity details.

  5. Click Submit.

You have added a new activity to the system.

Editing an Activity

  1. Open the Edit view in the left-hand pane.
  2. Click Activities.
  3. Click the Edit button.
  4. Make the necessary changes.
  5. Click Submit.

You have edited an activity.

Note: An audit trail of edit changes is recorded in a log file: Inetpub/Tempus/Audit.txt
